My name is Parker Ambrose. I am a game development student currently attending the Milwaukee Area Technical College(or MATC) for an associate's degree in game development. Ever since I was young I have loved video games all my life, and eventually decided to journey into the world of not just playing them, but building them. I like to break existing mechanics down into their core systems, learning about and then exploiting them, testing the limits of what certain games will handle and of course out of raw curiosity. Whenever I see a new mechanic in a game, I tend to think "Okay, so how far ahead did the developers think of this?"

My primary focus is programming, with a specific understanding in the Unity game engine utilizing the C# programming language due to my experience with my game project, GyroGun, and its use of 2D physics. I am however trying to learn Unreal Engine, as its technology continues to develop beyond what I thought I would ever see in games.

Other focuses include worldbuilding, designing concepts such as warships(in the context of sci-fi related content), creatures, and 3D modeling. I often spend time using Blender or Obsidian MD to either create these ideas in 3D space or write them down in some manner, using them as a platform to flesh out ideas.

I love coming up with unique ideas, and working with others to create a meaningful experience in the hopes that someone will be able to enjoy the content I create, whether in a group or by myself. I have an immense passion for gaming and the experiences it can provide, and I always try to meet a high standard in what I create in detail.
